Foot and ankle surgery is one of the most complicated and diverse areas of orthopedic practice.  The multiple conditions that are seen covering the areas of trauma, congenital deformity, injuries, sports-related injuries, infection, and diabetes creates a multitude of diseases and deformities that few surgeons master all.  Foot and ankle surgery requires the knowledge of when to operate, and when to treat without surgery, and how to successfully treat without surgery.  If surgery is undertaken, then ideally a single operation should correct the deformity with a single recovery period and no complications.  Dr. Younger’s knowledge of pathology, physiology, anatomy, and surgical techniques allows him to achieve these goals.
